BNYM Indigenous Designs

Ceramics

BNYM Indigenous Designs produces authentic, hand-made, hand-painted ceramics, wood-work and paintings by Sam Walker-Wilson and Joel Haddock in their workshop in Morwell, Victoria.

BYNM artists create contemporary work which showcases the wealth of indigenous culture with a fresh, vibrant style. Because it is hand-made, each piece is different. Clay from Bendigo is used to make the ceramics. It can take up to 4 weeks to complete a ceramics production cycle.

There are two ceramic product ranges – the BNYM range of platters, bowls, vases, urns and large coolamons (a shallow bowl traditionally carved from wood) and the Bindi Bindi range of small giftware. Bindi Bindi means small ornaments and in this range you will find small bowls (in 2 sizes), baby coolamons, baths and animals like seals, lizards and frogs.

BNYM ceramics are signed by each artist and are microwave and dishwasher safe.
